The Advent of Christ – Light
As we begin this Advent season, we look into not only His first coming, but also His second coming. This Sunday, Sr. Leader Debra Jack begins with the Advent addressing the first symbol – Light. This year we begin Advent in the middle of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. At this time of year we forward to Christmas, let’s also look forward to His soon to be Second Advent.

Sr. Leader Debra picks up with the Leaven of the Kingdom of God and how like yeast working through a loaf of bread, so to the leaven of the Kingdom of God must be worked through our lives. In the process we are kneaded, stretched and pressed on every side so that the Kingdom leaven is worked all through our lives to bring us to a place where we can have God’s perspective, His presence, His power and give Him praise.
